Tianmu Mountain is located around Xinchang County in Zhejiang Province and has been a tea-growing area with a rich cultural heritage since ancient times. The region has frequent mountain mist and significant temperature differences between day and night, creating favorable conditions for tea cultivation. Tianmu Mountain is also closely connected with traditional Chinese poetry. Li Bai’s famous poem Dreaming of Tianmu Mountain made “Tianmu” an especially poetic cultural image.

In this case, the fresh tea leaves are transformed into black tea through processes such as withering, rolling, oxidation and drying.
